Overview

Single father Jerry immerses his son Joe in the radical beliefs of the sovereign citizen movement, instilling the idea that laws are mere constructs and true freedom must be seized. As Jerry's obsession deepens, their lives spiral into conflict with a dedicated police chief who has dedicated his career to enforcing the very laws Jerry rejects.
