The Church (2018)

Overview

Amidst a decaying Philadelphia neighborhood slated for gentrification, a steadfast minister clings to the remnants of his once-thriving Baptist church. As pressure mounts from his ambitious wife and avaricious church leaders, he faces temptations from developers offering lucrative deals for a flashy new "mega-ministry." Meanwhile, the restless spirits of founding members awaken, disturbed by the encroaching greed. Trapped within the church's walls, the congregation grapples with their choices and confronts the moral consequences of their actions, ultimately revealing who among them truly embodies righteousness.
