The Negotiator

Overview

In 2005, Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena was captured by terrorists in Iraq. SISMI agent Nicola Calipari is assigned to secure her release, but complications arise due to the involvement of US forces. After intense negotiations and facing numerous obstacles, Nicola successfully rescues Giuliana, but tragically, he pays the ultimate price for his bravery, losing his life in the process.
