Overview

"Beyond the Blackboard" follows a young, passionate teacher embarking on her first year in a challenging role. Set in 1987 Albuquerque, New Mexico, she finds herself teaching homeless children in a makeshift classroom known as The School with No Name. As she navigates the complexities of her new position, she confronts her own biases and the significant lack of resources, including books and supplies.
