Overview

Dr. Bock, head of medicine at a New York City hospital, grapples with deep despair following his personal life’s unraveling. His world spirals further when an intern is discovered dead in a hospital bed, hinting at severe malpractice. The situation escalates when another doctor, linked to a separate malpractice incident, is also found dead. Amid this chaos, Bock becomes increasingly captivated by Barbara, the daughter of a comatose missionary, as he navigates his own emotional turmoil and the dark undercurrents of the medical institution.
