Overview

After spending years behind bars, Carlito Brigante is determined to leave his life of crime behind him. However, his resolve is tested when he reunites with his dancer girlfriend and becomes embroiled in the illicit activities of his lawyer and friend, Dave Kleinfeld. Their lives take a perilous turn when they cross paths with the unscrupulous gangster Benny Blanco, pulling Carlito deeper into the treacherous depths of New York City's criminal underbelly.
