Batman (1989)

Overview

After the traumatic loss of his parents to violence in his youth, wealthy benefactor Bruce Wayne takes on a new identity as Batman, a vigilante dedicated to combating crime in Gotham City. His mission becomes increasingly perilous when a twisted criminal mastermind called 'The Joker' rises to dominate the city's underbelly. As Batman confronts this formidable adversary, he must also safeguard his secret identity and his romantic relationship with intrepid journalist Vicki Vale.
