Overview

In "Clear and Present Danger," Jack Ryan steps in as the acting Deputy Director of Intelligence for the CIA after Admiral Greer is diagnosed with cancer. The plot thickens when an American businessman, who has ties to the president, is found murdered on his yacht. As Ryan investigates, he uncovers connections between the victim and drug traffickers. Meanwhile, ex-CIA operative John Clark is dispatched to Colombia to eliminate the drug lords in revenge. Ryan faces a web of deceit and must navigate through layers of corruption to uncover the truth behind the murder and those accountable.
