Overview

Recently divorced and struggling to make ends meet, Paulo finds himself behind the wheel of a cab in Rio, working late into the night. His main goal is to earn enough to support his ten-year-old son by sending money to his ex-wife. As he navigates the city's vibrant nightlife, he encounters a diverse cast of passengers, fellow drivers, and law enforcement, each adding to his complex world.
