Jason and Sarah venture from their adopted Shanghai home to Vancouver for his uncle's funeral, seeking refuge with Aunt Mei. Struggling to adjust, they grow increasingly alarmed when their son, Sam, starts experiencing visions of ghosts and violent fatalities. After Sam’s hospitalization, Sarah turns to a knowledgeable pharmacist, who reveals that dark supernatural forces are targeting her son.
