Overview

Inspector Louis Baroni, portrayed by Philippe Noiret, has retreated into seclusion following his wife’s death, finding solace in his lonely home. His introspection is abruptly interrupted when he is summoned to investigate the mysterious demise of Madame Morlaix. Her husband, Edouard (Michel Serrault), claims she fell from an upper window, but Baroni's curiosity drives him to dig deeper. As he uncovers the truth, the investigation pulls him from his solitude, challenging his grief and revealing unexpected twists along the way.
