Overview

Set in post-World War II Germany, Max, a Jewish Holocaust survivor, encounters a fervent band of resistance fighters who share his despair after losing their families to the Nazis. United by their collective grief, they envision a grand scheme for vengeance against their oppressors, motivated by the belief that justice demands retribution. As Max becomes increasingly drawn into their sinister ambitions, he grapples with the moral implications of their radical actions, torn between his desire for justice and the darkness of their intentions.
