Overview

Vasyl Serediuk, the head of a local museum, is taken aback when his daughter Kateryna announces her engagement to François, a French heart surgeon. Proudly proclaiming their "European choice" to the community, Vasyl’s excitement quickly turns to shock upon discovering that François is of African descent. Determined to sabotage the wedding, he devises a series of schemes. However, as true love prevails, Vasyl must confront his deep-seated prejudices and reconsider his approach to his daughter's happiness, leading to unexpected revelations about family and acceptance.
