Overview

During World War II, Washington, D.C. faces a dire housing crisis, prompting Connie Milligan to sublet part of her apartment as an act of patriotism. Expecting a responsible female tenant, she is instead met by the charmingly troublesome Benjamin Dingle. Dingle quickly persuades Connie to let him stay and then whimsically sublets his space to the youthful, cheeky Joe Carter.
