Overview

Fiercely independent Vivienne Le Coudy, a French-Canadian woman, sets out to build a future in Elk Flats, Nevada, alongside Danish immigrant Holger Olsen. Their dreams take a turn when Holger enlists to fight for the Union in the escalating Civil War, leaving Vivienne to navigate the challenges of a town dominated by a corrupt mayor.
