Overview

Francie and Joe experience a whimsical childhood, steeped in imagination and mischief. However, the harsh reality of Francie's life looms large, dominated by his abusive, alcoholic father and a mentally unstable mother. As the chaos around him intensifies, Francie’s grip on sanity weakens, leading him to respond with increasingly erratic behavior.
