Overview

Set in 1942, occupied France, Gilles finds himself captured by SS soldiers and taken to a German concentration camp. Facing imminent execution, he cleverly claims to be Persian instead of Jewish, buying himself some time. His survival hinges on a daunting task: teaching Farsi to Head of Camp Koch, who aspires to run a restaurant in Iran post-war. To keep his secret safe, Gilles fabricates an entirely new language every day, navigating the precarious balance between deception and survival in a tense, unforgiving environment.
