Overview

On a secluded island near Sandhamn, barber Assar Gustafsson leads a quiet life with his 17-year-old daughter, Anna-Bella. Their routine is disrupted when his wife unexpectedly returns after five years, only to open a brothel in their bathhouse, featuring Anna-Bella as its star. The establishment draws a diverse clientele, turning their lives upside down. Meanwhile, a beleaguered Assar begins plotting to ensure his wife’s departure becomes permanent, grappling with the turmoil her return has unleashed on their previously tranquil existence.
