Overview

Mary Marshall, serving a six-year sentence for accidental manslaughter, receives a Christmas furlough to visit her uncle's family in a quaint Midwestern town. On her train journey, she encounters Zach Morgan, a troubled army sergeant on holiday leave from a military hospital. Though his physical injuries have healed, he battles post-traumatic stress disorder and experiences panic attacks. Amid the festive spirit, their connection deepens into romance.
