Set against the grim backdrop of 1348 Florence, as the plague ravages the city, a group of ten young souls—seven women and three men—seeks solace in an abandoned villa nestled in the Tuscan hills. Faced with the specter of death, they attempt to stave off despair through storytelling, sharing tales that range from tragic to whimsical, and even erotic.
