Overview

Julian Berniers returns to his New Orleans family with his new wife, Lily Prine, much to the delight of his spinster sisters, Carrie and Anna. Eager for financial support, the sisters are initially charmed by the couple's lavish gifts. However, Julian reveals that his once-thriving factory has collapsed, masking the truth that he orchestrated a real estate con and absconded with the funds. Consumed by jealousy, Carrie’s obsession with Julian drives her to uncover his deceit, leading her to sabotage their marriage at every turn.
