Overview

In the spring of 1976, a striking 19-year-old named Eliane arrives in a town with her German mother and disabled father. Her beauty captures the attention of locals, particularly a firefighter known as Pin-Pon. Eliane quickly forms a bond with him, revealing her insecurities about being perceived as foolish. As she moves in with Pin-Pon, making plans for their wedding and knitting baby clothes, questions arise about her past. She probes into a mysterious piano delivered in 1955, seeking answers that intertwine with her mother's grief, her father's accident, and the secrets behind her lineage.
