Overview

Sixteen-year-old Misao Makimachi, a talented member of the Oniwabanshu ninja clan, embarks on a quest to find her leader, Aoshi Shinomori. However, her journey takes a perilous turn when she encounters Hitokiri Battosai, now known as Kenshin Himura, who wields a reverse-blade sword. Misao soon becomes embroiled in a treacherous scheme led by the ruthless Makoto Shishio, who aims to overthrow the Meiji government and conquer Japan, starting with Kyoto. As danger closes in, Misao must rely on her skills to navigate this deadly web of intrigue.
