Overview

Kate is en route to Brisbane with her 18-year-old foster son, Warren, a Torres Strait Islander, to reunite him with his ailing birth mother, Flo. It's been years since Flo last saw Warren when he was taken by authorities after a hospital visit on Thursday Island. As the emotional meeting approaches, tensions rise, especially since Kate's parents, Keith and Dellmay, secretly have their own plans for this family reunion.
