The Red Sneakers

Overview

Reggie Reynolds is a high schooler who excels academically but struggles on the basketball court. One day, he encounters a junk dealer who hands him a pair of vintage gym shoes once worn by a star in the 1930s Negro Basketball leagues. When Reggie slips on the striking red sneakers, he instantly transforms into a basketball sensation. His newfound talent catches the eye of a prominent shoe company executive eager to persuade Reggie to ditch the old sneakers for his brand. However, Reggie realizes that without the enchanted red shoes, he risks returning to the bench.
