Overview

Tom Craig, a pharmacist from Boston, arrives in Sacramento only to clash with the corrupt political figure Britt Dawson, who extorts protection fees from the townspeople. After Dawson maliciously frames Craig by accusing him of distributing poisoned medicine, the pharmacist finds a chance for redemption amidst a Gold Rush epidemic. His knowledge and skills become crucial as he fights to save the afflicted, challenging Dawson’s tyranny and proving his worth to the community.
