Overview

Composer George Harvey Bone awakens with no recollection of the previous evening and discovers a bloody knife tucked in his pocket, igniting fears of a crime committed. Seeking guidance from Dr. Middleton, he attends a concert featuring the captivating singer Netta Longdon. Enchanted by her talent, Bone shifts his focus from his concerto to writing songs for her. As his obsession deepens, jealousy takes hold, and Bone grapples with the dread of losing control during his unsettling episodes, raising questions about his own sanity and safety.
