Overview

Nightclub proprietor Steve Larwitt finds his thriving business crumbling under tax evasion allegations and threats from adversaries. In a desperate bid for his safety, his wife Brenda testifies against him, influenced by her lawyer, Slant Kolma, who harbors feelings for her. Sentenced to a decade at Alcatraz, Steve's troubles continue as Brenda relocates closer to him, fending off the advances of Tim Nolan, an aircraft manufacturer unaware of her tumultuous history.
