Inspired by his mother, renowned chef Carme Ruscalleda, Raül navigated the demanding culinary landscape while battling drug addiction, which hindered his ability to fully embrace life and advance his career. Emerging from these struggles, he transformed into the authentic Raül Balam, supported by his family. As he embraces ambitious new culinary endeavors, he also shares his vibrant daily life on Instagram. This documentary captures his evolution following the closure of Sant Pau, his mother’s acclaimed three-star restaurant.
