Overview

Set against the backdrop of World War II in the occupied Soviet Union, István Semetka, an ordinary Hungarian farmer, serves as a Sub-Lieutenant in a special unit tasked with locating partisan groups. During a perilous mission to a secluded village, his team is ambushed, resulting in the death of their commander. Faced with his own fears, Semetka must step up and lead his men through the ensuing turmoil. As chaos reigns, he grapples with the weight of responsibility and the unpredictability of war, pushing him to his limits.
