Overview

Frustrated with his superiors after witnessing the massacre of his entire platoon during what he believed to be a reckless mission, a British Colonel decides to make a bold move. For his next operation, he recruits a group of convicted criminals to assist in preparing the Normandy beaches for the upcoming D-Day landings.
