Henry Brougham, an Episcopal Bishop, is consumed by his ambitious plans for a grand new cathedral, relying on a wealthy widow’s support. As he neglects his family and the true essence of his faith, an angel named Dudley arrives to lend a hand. While Dudley spreads joy and assistance, his unconventional methods stir unease in Henry, who fears losing both his position and his family's love to this celestial visitor.
