Overview

In "Gothika," Dr. Miranda Grey, a criminal psychologist, wakes up in a mental institution after a car accident, only to discover that she is now a patient there. Accused of murdering her husband, Dr. Douglas Grey, she struggles with the terrifying reality that she can't remember the events surrounding his death. Desperate to prove her innocence to her colleague, Dr. Pete Graham, she battles not only her own fragmented memories but also a malevolent spirit that manipulates her actions, further deepening the suspicion surrounding her guilt.
