Shortly afterward, an armed robbery at an airport cargo depot results in the tragic death of security guard Bill Kennedy, a former officer. Stacy had formed a bond with the gentle Bill through his blind son, Steve, which motivates her, Hooker, and Corrigan to track down the shooter. Their investigation reveals a connection between the hit-man and Bill's murder, suggesting a Mob involvement—and that Steve is now in grave danger.
