A young couple embarks on a mission to transform a typical 1950s house into a stunning architectural gem. After a year-long search across London for an exciting home for their daughters, Lola and Sylva, Ben and Rachel Hammond discover a property nestled in a picturesque south London park. Unfortunately, the house itself is an unattractive, inefficient red brick structure. Refusing to demolish it, they enlist the help of their architect friend Zac to completely redesign and modernize the eyesore into a sleek, contemporary masterpiece. However, the journey proves challenging with planning hurdles, delays in delivering crucial materials like large glass windows, and a tight budget that strains their daily lives as they juggle work to fund the project.
