Episode Overview

Kelly (Brittany Daniel) is taken aback when her daughter (Erica Gluck) expresses a desire for a lavish birthday celebration similar to those of her friends. In search of funds, Kelly turns to Jason (Coby Bell), but he declines her request. Meanwhile, Derwin (Pooch Hall) triumphs over Malik (Hosea Chanchez) in a game of XBOX John Madden, leaving Malik feeling humiliated. Determined to prove himself, Malik pesters Derwin for a rematch to regain his pride. Tia Mowry and Wendy Raquel Robinson also make appearances.
