The team travels to the historic city of York for an exciting live excavation. Among their discoveries are a Roman skeleton clad in hobnailed boots and a Viking leather shoe. They are joined by a variety of experts, including site supervisor Barney Sloane, Peter Addyman from the York Archaeological Trust, archaeologist Paul Thompson, and osteoarchaeologist Margaret Cox.
