Overview
Dark Shadows, a groundbreaking gothic soap opera, captivated audiences on ABC from June 27, 1966, to April 2, 1971, under the creative guidance of Dan Curtis. Initially devoid of supernatural elements, the show took a dramatic turn six months in with the introduction of ghosts, setting it apart in daytime TV.
