Episode Overview

After Yoshiharu strikes Nobukatsu Oda, Nobuna’s younger brother, in defense of her honor, he finds himself in serious trouble. Nobukatsu demands punishment, threatening Yoshiharu’s life, but Nobuna offers him a chance at redemption by promoting him to general—if he can collect 8,000 koku of rice within a week. Employing his savvy business skills and with the help of his ninja aide, Goemon Hachisuka, and Inuchiyo, Yoshiharu surpasses the goal, amassing four times the required amount. Meanwhile, Nobukatsu attempts a coup, convinced by his advisers that Nobuna is unfit to lead. However, her forces swiftly encircle his castle, and the combined rallying cries of Yoshiharu and the soldiers intimidate Nobukatsu into surrendering.
