Simon witnesses his teacher confront a man who was yelling at his son, and guilt consumes him when he discovers that his teacher has been dismissed. Annie decides to take up piano lessons as part of her "pregnancy project." Meanwhile, Matt tries to pursue one of his college instructors but misinterprets her friendly demeanor. Mary and her friends decide to ditch a tedious class, only to get caught in the act. Lucy accidentally leaves her lunch in geometry class, only to find her teacher finishing it—twice! She and her friend Shelby end up learning an unexpected geometry lesson. Meanwhile, Ruthie struggles to choose the right instrument for music class.
