Mary seeks to mend things with Lucy by clarifying that she never engaged in a romantic relationship with her sister's fiancé. The challenge lies in persuading Lucy to believe her. Meanwhile, Wilson arrives unexpectedly from New York, eager to determine the fate of his relationship with Mary. James confides in Eric about his temptation to be unfaithful to Annie, while Serena admits to Annie her intentions to pursue Eric.
