Episode Overview

Following the dramatic finale of the previous season, Simon comes home from college and grapples with lingering feelings for Cecilia. Meanwhile, Matt faces challenges in his marriage as old emotions for his ex-girlfriend, Andrea (guest-star), resurface. Eric and Annie embrace grandparenthood with the arrival of Mary’s baby. In the season nine premiere, Simon's budding romance with Georgia (guest-star Rheagan Wallace) raises concerns for Eric and Annie, who suspect they might be becoming intimate. Kevin fears Lucy is in denial about her pregnancy when she avoids maternity shopping.
