Episode Overview
As the First World War nears its end, Carter makes his way back to the Valley of the Kings, eager to finally uncover the lost tomb. Meanwhile, Maggie arrives in Egypt, hoping to rekindle their romance, but Carter soon finds himself captivated by Evelyn, the daughter of Lord Carnarvon. Their excavation faces challenges due to the rising Anti-British feelings in Egypt. To complicate matters further, Carnarvon struggles with financial issues, leaving him unable to support Carter's seemingly futile quest.
