His decision shifts when he learns that the famous actress Rita Howard is making a short stop in New Caledonia, and Admiral Rogers is quite the admirer of hers. Interestingly, Rita has a 'relative' residing on Taratupa, which prompts Binghamton to reconsider and approve the boys' trip.
