Bolander, Munch, Howard, and Felton gather to execute a warrant, but an unexpected ambush leaves Bolander, Howard, and Felton injured from gunfire. Pembleton steps up as the lead investigator, teaming up with a detective skilled in understanding the psychology of their main suspect, a pedophile. Stan’s former partner, Mitch Drummond, offers his assistance. Meanwhile, Kay’s father and Beau’s wife, along with the children, arrive at the hospital. It’s revealed that a clerical mistake led the detectives to the wrong apartment number, 201 instead of 210.
