Overview
Set in 2033, individuals facing death can transfer their consciousness to luxurious virtual hotels managed by six tech giants. Nora, a struggling customer service representative living in Brooklyn, works for the opulent “Lakeview” digital afterlife. When Nathan, a carefree coder from Los Angeles, suffers a fatal accident in his self-driving car, his demanding girlfriend ensures he is uploaded for eternity into Nora’s virtual realm. As their lives intertwine, Nora navigates the complexities of her job and Nathan’s new existence in this high-tech afterlife.
