Episode Overview
Mary Cherry finds her belongings seized at school after her mother files for bankruptcy, forcing her to adopt a shabby appearance with makeshift shoes and KFC-inspired attire. In an effort to support her, Lily steps in, helping Mary Cherry secure a job in the cafeteria, where she learns firsthand what it means to struggle financially. Meanwhile, Sam and Carmen launch a campaign to encourage yearbook photo submissions, with April being one of the few who volunteers for the free makeup. Their project unexpectedly reveals the significance of inner beauty. Brooke and Harrison are discharged from the hospital, and as they joke about outfits for the school pictures, they agree to remain just friends. Ultimately, Mary Cherry gets her belongings back and decides to give back to those in need.
