Episode Overview

Unbeknownst to Kelly, her uncle Oliver has been poisoned by his own nephew, Glenn Staley, who is drowning in debt. Staley has promised to hand over Barrows' San Diego hotel to a developer linked to organized crime, believing that eliminating Oliver would fix his financial troubles. However, Glenn now sees that he must also eliminate the new heiress, Kelly. Meanwhile, Kelly grapples with her uncertain lineage and enlists Kris, Tiffany, and Bosley to uncover the truth. Tiffany travels to San Diego with Kelly to delve into the Barrows family history, while Kris pursues leads from Bill Cord's investigation, leading to a romantic connection between her and Bill.
