Reluctantly, Clay succumbs to Sammy Jo's wishes and signs the annulment papers, ending their brief marriage. Meanwhile, Blake, feeling sympathy for Ben after Leslie Carrington's cruel attack, confronts Leslie in hopes of convincing her to reconsider her stance on Ben. Dana happily accepts Adam's marriage proposal, prompting Alexis to jump into action with elaborate plans for the wedding. She even considers hosting it at the Carrington mansion to create tension between Blake and Krystle. Frustrated with Alexis's manipulation, Dex tells her that he is leaving her for good. Dominique and Nick remain unaware of their mutual need, while Dominique finds friendship and support with Dex. As Krystina's third birthday approaches, she experiences a serious breathing crisis and is rushed to the hospital, leaving Krystle and Blake anxiously waiting as their daughter fights for her life.
