Krystle is plagued by a chilling sense of dread after noticing strange shadows lurking outside her window. A blood test meant to reveal Clay's biological father yields inconclusive results, prompting Clay and Ben to decide to leave Denver. Steven's choice to depart also brings heartache and confusion to his loved ones. Meanwhile, Adam is filled with joy when Blake and Alexis officially adopt him. Caught up in the romance of Adam and Dana's wedding, Dominique accepts Nick's marriage proposal. However, feeling isolated after the wedding, Alexis drives away in emotional turmoil, only to crash her car off a bridge into the river. The wedding celebration takes a dark turn as mysterious intruders invade the mansion, capturing the Carrington family.
